TankRoyale.io is a fast, funny take on the battle-royale idea, played out with little sentient tanks instead of soldiers. You spawn into an arena full of rivals — bots or real players from around the world — and your job is simple to grasp and hard to master: hunt the others down while dodging their fire. Cash earned in battle buys upgrades and power-ups, from heavier weapons and a tougher hull to a faster engine, so every match nudges you a little closer to a tank that can genuinely dominate.
Beyond the firepower there’s real tactics: explosive rockets, land mines and air strikes for offence, plus invisibility, dash and shield to save your skin. Keep moving, upgrade mobility early, and hold your ultimate for the moment a rival overcommits.

Battle-royale tank games reward map awareness over trigger-happiness. What keeps our tank alive to the late game:
- Never stop moving. A stationary tank is an easy hit. Keep drifting in wide arcs while you aim with the mouse — small constant movement makes you dramatically harder to land shots on.
- Upgrade the engine early. Mobility wins more fights than firepower here. A faster hull lets you pick and choose your battles and escape ones you’re losing.
- Hold your ultimate for the ambush. Right-click ultimates (rockets, mines, strikes) win duels — but only if you save them for when a rival commits. Fire it into open space and you’ve wasted your best card.
