Solitaire Soviet

Solitaire Soviet is a charming, retro-flavoured card game that revives some original solitaire variants with a nostalgic USSR-era wink. Behind the playful theme is a genuinely enjoyable set of 50 levels with simple rules and steadily rising difficulty — a relaxing, thoughtful puzzle for anyone who loves patience games but fancies something a little different from the usual Klondike and Spider. Easy to pick up, satisfying to work through.

As with any solitaire, look before you leap: check what each move frees up beneath before committing, and clear the tightly-stacked piles early so you don’t run out of options near the end. Take your time — there’s no clock, so plan a line rather than playing the first legal card you see.

Solitaire Soviet - How to Play

The goal of the game is to clear the board by collecting paired cards of the same rank. The layout of the board changes depending on the level. If there is no pair on the board, you can click on the deck to get the next two cards from it, and repeat until a suitable pair is found. The maximum number of times you can go through the entire deck in this way is three. Sometimes a joker may appear randomly, which is a pair for any card.
