Jake the Snake

Jake the Snake is a clever little puzzle-platformer with a neat twist: Jake starts out too short to reach the exit, so you’ll need to help him grow before he can escape each level. Even once he’s long enough, guiding him to the door without dropping him into the water or onto dangerous objects takes real thought. It’s a charming, brain-teasing game that rewards planning and a bit of trial and error — simple to grasp, satisfying to solve.

Work out how Jake needs to grow before you start moving him, since a wrong move can strand him. Plan your route to the exit around the hazards rather than improvising, and take your time; these puzzles reward thinking a few steps ahead far more than quick reactions.

Jake the Snake - How to Play

Have Jake eat all of the stars on a level to enable the exit. As Jake eats the stars he will grow. Don’t let Jake hit any of the dangers on the levels or fall into the water. Keep in mind that the stars can act as a platform and can support Jake. Use the WASD or arrow keys to control Jake or on touch devices swipe with your finger. If you want to reset the levels (re-locks all the levels except level 1) use the Clear Data button on the Levels menu.
