Roller Ball X is a snappy bounce-ball platformer with a fun save-the-world premise: evil minions are trying to crush the planet into a cube, and only the red rolling ball can stop them. You roll and jump through a hazard-filled factory, bopping enemies from above, threading past laser beams and scooping up stars on the way to each exit. Simple arrow-key controls make it instantly playable, but the later levels demand real precision.
Remember the golden rule of these games: land on enemies from the top and you win the exchange, but clip one from the side and it’s game over. Time your jumps a beat early, and skip a risky star if a clean run to the goal is on offer instead.
